The Limited,
Hay-on-Wye
Our
main shop is situated in the town centre at Lion Street, about a
hundred yards from Hay Castle, and holds the greater part of our
stock of around three-quarters of a million titles. We are
justifiably proud of the fact that customers visit this veritable
'Tardis' of book shops from the four corners of the earth, not just
once but many times.
The
Limited is organised into departments which, together with our Hay
Castle Bookshop, cover just about every subject under the sun.
Opening Hours
Winter
opening (late October to late March): Monday, Friday, Saturday 9am -
8pm; Sunday 11:30am - 5:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am - 5:30pm.
Summer
opening (late March to late October): Monday to Saturday 9am - 8pm,
Sunday 11:30am - 5:30pm

Hay
Castle Bookshop is situated in the impressive public rooms and
grounds of the Castle which dominates the town. Altogether, the most
satisfying location for any collection of Antiquarian books.
The
Castle is organised into departments which, together with the
Limited, cover just about every subject under the sun.
Opening Hours
Winter
opening times (late October to late March): 9:00am - 5:30pm daily
(including Sundays).
Summer
opening times (late March to late October): 9:30am - 6:00pm daily
(including Easter Sunday).
In
the grounds of the Castle is the open-air Honesty bookshop, where
books are available on open shelves 24 hours a day - paperbacks all
30 pence each and hardbacks 50 pence. Put your money into the
collecting box provided. |
